WHY THE PHILIPPINES?

It seems that no one disputes that the Asian Region is the place to go these days with strong growth forecasts in most of its countries.The Philippines is one of these especially as the current Philippine government's policies have significantly strengthened the economy having placed increasing emphasis on the improvement of the infrastructure particularly in power, transportation, mining, and water works sections.

CURRENT WORK:

May 2008 Recent Completions:

• Railway Sector - Sale of 2000 h.p. GE diesel electric locomotive and 26 flat cars for carrying 40ft. containers from Manila to Fremantle in Western Australia. First part of feasibility study for establishment of theme park in Central Philippines for running historic locomotives.
• Energy Sector - For UK principal, contracts obtained for two feasibility studies for wind farm projects in North and Central Philippines. Also contract for overseeing of construction costs for new ethanol plant in Central Philippines on behalf of principal financing bank.

Current Marketing Activity:

• Railway Sector - Two current contracts; one for marketing used locomotives both modern and historical, and the other to complete purchase of two 1000 hp diesel locomotive for a railway construction project in the region.
• Energy Sector - For UK principal contract for marketing assistance in power projects, mainly hydro electric and coal fired. Also specializing in Engineering Services and Financial Sourcing for ethanol and bio diesel projects.

1. Long term and extensive business relationships in a country where this seems to be even more important than elsewhere, and
2. In depth experience and knowledge of promoting business in all parts of the Philippines.

In addition, we can provide contacts in the other regional countries through our association with the Larive Holland Group, a company with similar business interests covering principally West and East Europe, East and South Asia. Currently BPA has ongoing work with the Larive associates in Japan and Taiwan.
